Dylan Dukat (b. 2000) is a Korean-American composer and future educator. His music is inextricably linked to his philosophies on existence, with the beautiful and the grotesque interacting to highlight the conflicts of humanity, both within itself and with the world at large. By fusing electronic and acoustic music-making, Dylan’s music also explores the inevitable technological future that awaits us, and the dangers held therewithin.
Born in Gwangju, South Korea, Dylan began his music career in Syracuse, NY. Currently, Dylan is studying at the Crane School of Music (’22) in Potsdam, NY, studying Music Education and Music Composition. He is also a member of the Society of Pi Kappa Lambda (inducted May 2020).
